ESEA Main: RivaL not as Planned

ESEA Main week 2 has begun against Team RivaL and started off unexpected and a little rocky with the match not quite going to plan. While there was server issues, our team just couldn't keep it together after winning the first pistol round and two gun rounds. The rounds were close but Team RivaL kept coming out on top on them which ended in a 16-4 victory for them on cobble and handed our team their first loss making them (2-1-0) in ESEA Main.

Statement from the eSports manager Elderfro:

We started of the pistol round strong leading to a 3-0 lead. However, even though the first gun round was looking to go in our favor, a great by team rival using a mag-7 in close quarters won them the round. We subsequently lost the next two round while on Eco making the score 3-3. On the second gun round we were unable to trade properly and were quickly taken out as we tried taking over the bomb sites. There were plenty of close rounds that we could have won, but were outplayed by Team Rival. We needed up losing the match 16-3, but with a lot of close rounds we could have easily turned the match around in our favor. Even though the score doesn't show it, the match could have gone either way. One thing we have to work on is better trading and team positioning - however, no one was at fault for losing the match. We lost as a team, and next match we hope to show that we are able to also win as a team.
