We are a team of 5 people ranging from ages 20-30. We all have played competitive games, from FPS’ to RTS’ to Sport games; any game that can be played competitively, one of us has probably played it. Our team was formed 5 months ago with the core members of shyNee, Sneaks, Sno and another player and a few weeks later we added Volkano to our roster. but we had to drop the other player due to commitment issues. After playing for awhile with ringers, and tryouts we finally settled on picking up GxSlim. After having our 5 core members we started winning tournaments and scrims, and all together doing well as a team, having both chemistry in play style and personality. We are improving individually and as well as a team everyday. We are looking to go as far as we can as a team, playing in as many tournaments as we can and hopefully, in the future become professional players.

    Andy "shyNee" Nguyen

My name is Andy Nguyen, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Illinois I formed the team with Sneaks and later picked up the rest of the guys.I've been playing competitive games since I was 13 starting with CS 1.6, then later moving onto Quake 3, SC:BW, War3:FT, TF2, HoN and SC2. I play support for the team and am looking to go as far as we can as a team.

    Tom "SnEaKs" Kristufek

My name is Tom Kristufek, I'm 25 years old and I'm from Illinois. shyNee and I first formed the team and later picked up the rest of the guys. I've been playing competitive games since I was 12-13 playing Medal of Honor and Counterstrike 1.6, then later moving onto Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft 3, DotA 1, and now DotA 2. I play mid for our team and hope we can continue to grow and succeed as a team.

    Matthew "Sno" Kerr

Hello, my name is Matthew "Sno" Kerr. I am 20 years old and currently live in Oregon. On our team I am usually playing the offlane. My gaming career started when I was around 14 years old with Counter-Strike Source and also dota 1. In the past 6 years I have played LoL, HoN, SC2, and Counter-Strike Source. My hope for this team is that we can stay together and eventually make it to the professional level.

    Kevin "Volkano" Leduc
Hi,my name's Kevin Leduc and i'm from Quebec,Canada, yep a frenchy. I am the ingame leader of the team. I've been playing MOBA's/ARTS's for quite a while now. I spend most of my time on DotA2, in fact, if i'm not working, i'm either studying some dota replays, or practicing with the team. While playing I usually listen to dubstep, chillstep, or trance music. My goal is to, one day, live off playing video games, and I will for sure try as hard as possible to make it happen!

    Maurice "GxSlim" Dib
A long time gamer, I've been competing on and off for a decade. I'm a veteran of the first ever WCG, and am credited in a AAA video game title as a playtester. Though an old man and professional in the corporate world, I can never be swayed from my love of video game competition.

The International prize pool is already halfway to the 15 million dollar mark in just 10 days, with 90 days to go. They're still working on building the second set of Immortal items, but they’re not quite ready yet. The most important aspect of these Immortals is their quality level, so they're also planning on spending some extra time polishing them rather than releasing them quickly.
You’ll still see an update to the Compendium this week though. Included in that update you’ll...

  • Alliance Shakes up its Roster, S4 & EGM gone!
    by Ari

Alliance says it's time for a couple of changes, and today they say goodbye to Gustav "S4" Magnusson and Jerry "EGM" Lundkvist. Will Alliance be the same? Will they become better? Who do they replace with? It should be interesting next tournament to see how they do!

"In February of 2013, just a few months removed from taking first place at DreamHack Winter, a team by the name of No TideHunter made a controversial roster change. The team's four Swedish players had...

Recently on the Dota 2 test client and as of October 21 on the main client, Dota 2 officially has been brought patch version 6.79. This patch also marks the first time Dota 2 is patched with such a large update than DotA, the last being 6.78. Now what does this patch do, well it changes a lot from heroes to items.

    by Abschatten
After being contacted by Epizootic and his team I personally decided to give them a good look over to see what they were about and what their goals were in the long run, after getting to talk to them for forty minutes we decided to go ahead and play a match of DOTA 2 together just for the giggles. Sixty minutes later come to find out not only are they a fun group of people they are also some pretty good players, They are definitely a team with a lot of potential.
