    Outlast 1 is a first-person survival horror game where you play as investigative journalist Miles Upshur. Drawn to the remote Mount Massive Asylum based on a mysterious tip, you soon discover its dark secrets and the horrifying results of inhumane experiments. With no weapons and only a night-vision camcorder to light your way, you must navigate through terrifying environments while avoiding monstrous patients and trying to survive long enough to expose the truth. The game is known for its intense atmosphere, jump scares, and nerve-wracking gameplay.​
