Brawler’s Guild Updates for 5.3!

Two new tiers will offer Brawler’s Guild members the opportunity to reach rank 10, and will introduce eight new bosses. Blizzard don’t want to ruin the surprise and explain each fight, though, so it’ll be up to us to discover who these mighty foes are, and what they can do. Also new to the system are Challenge Cards. A short three weeks after Emperor Lei Shen returned to wreak his vengeance on Pandaria, Lzuruha's Team Headband entered the Throne of Thunder and destroyed his minions, then challenged the Mogu himself. After a hard-fought battle, Lzuruha came out on top, smiting the mighty king and undoing the ill work of the trolls. This week saw three of Lzuruha of Stormrage's teams pushing past Horridon and getting a start on the Council of Elders. Here's a brief update from each of the raid teams.

When the Thunder King awoke, he rewarded the most loyal and ambitious Zandalari trolls with power beyond their wildest dreams. The berserker Jin'rokh was one of the first to receive the King's blessing, and even though Lei Shen's gifts nearly tore his body apart, the troll is now capable of calling the fury of the storm in battle. Lzuruha Stormrage group went Berserker on Jin'rokh and slayed him!...

We started with Scarlet Halls, ended with Mogu'shan Palace. Some memorable moments included getting Gold on our dry run through Shado-pan Monastery and probably the sheer exhilaration of getting Stormstout right at the 12 minute mark (where we ultimately found out I was wearing the wrong hat).

Lzuruha's lead Stormreaver team entered the Heart of Fear yesterday with their eyes set upon the third boss, heroic style. This massive kunchong gets even bigger, meaner, and crushes weak hearts for even more in his heroic setting. Although the official Pandarian guide told them that making fun of his tiny wings would just make him angry, the Stormreaver team pulled those wings right off and watched him squirm.

Over the past two weeks, team Hell Hogs from the Stormrage server have been busy in the Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring. After decimating Garalon and Wind Lord Mel'jarak in the Heart of Fear, they broke into the Terrace, intent on cleansing the corruption of the Sha. After annihilating the elite Protectors, Hell Hogs moved forward to heal the corrupted dragon Tsulong, then finished with the water elemental, Lei Shi.

Lzuruha from Stormreaver have officially finished Mogu'shan Vaults Heroic mode. They took down the Will of the Emperor, a core chamber of the vaults that is protected by stone soldiers who have been motionless for centuries. They are row upon row of warriors, statues armed for a battle that never began. Now with Mogu'shan Vaults cleared, they will be moving their attention over onto Heart of Fear in hopes of killing Garalon before 5.2!...
