  • Arrow Gaming disqualified from Summit 2 SEA Division

Following recent investigations into various games where match-fixing was suspected we'll be disqualifying Arrow effective immediately from The Summit 2. We've been in close talks with Dota2Lounge over the past few days and tried to get as much information and evidence to make sure we make the right decision on this matter, but as a global tournament organizer we can't stand by what's been presented to us as a fixed game played between Arrow Gaming & CSW in Synergy League.

It's stomach wrenching to find out this kind of information, especially with a team who I watched shine in the Ti4 qualifiers, and pull off some amazing games as heavy underdogs at TI4 itself and started to really get behind, but ultimately we are in a position where we can't stand by and allow these kind of actions to take part in the SEA Dota scene where we actively broadcast and run events.

At this stage Arrow Gaming will not be replaced and all opponents will receive a default win for this match in the SEA division.

Match fixing has been getting crazy lately in CS GO and Dota 2 with all these gambling sites on the rise.
