Adult entertainment and games are the chocolate and peanut butter of the Internet, and now they’re getting together at long last.

Pornographic-video website YouPorn announced that it has finalized the details of its sponsorship deal with the Spanish e-sports team Play2Win. The terms of the deal have the e-sports club changing its name to “Team YP.” It makes its debut under this new banner Friday at the Gamergy Dota 2 tournament in Madrid. E-sports is starting to generate big bucks largely through a massive online audience that draws millions of viewers for the biggest events.

“We’re so psyched to finally make our official entry into gaming and e-sports,” says Brad Burns, the vice president of YouPorn. “This partnership has been a long time coming, and I believe that with our backing, along with the expertise that each member of Team YP brings to the table on the virtual battlefield, we can succeed in tearing through the competition at this year’s Gamergy event.”
I wonder if they will actually let them play in tournaments and leagues? Majors because I know the LoL LCS contract is hardcore against this but I'm not too sure on Dota's stance towards pornographic stuff.

I'm pretty sure they wont go anywhere due to a lot of majors are being broadcasted on TV now. they will more than likely be barred from any serious events.

A lot of gamers are underage, so I can definitely see where the sponsorship could get shady, however I say good job finding a sponsor fellas!

I find it "odd" that LoL takes a stance against porn but makes the majority of the female characters in scarcely covering clothing if not by default at least as an alternative outfit. All the same I agree with Todd. Good on them for getting a sponsor and one which could throw a lot of money at them but wish they could have found a better one...

They wont be allowed to play in any respectable tournament or league due to TV restrictions. But they can play in low end leagues/tournies probably.
