One of the hardest games for the NES, Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship is a rarely ran game where gravity is your biggest obstacle and it's easy to loose control. Fly through 12 levels of varying gravity and difficulty, hunting for all the pieces of your stolen Warpship. Then defeat the final boss! There are loads of things to collect and toe to your mothership, while trying your best not to slam into all those cave walls.
I run the any% route and am working my way to claim the world record of 00:25:53 from Dag 'ktwo' Cato.
I have already found some ways I can improve upon Dag's WR time.
I also plan to run the Warpless and 100% route. Neither has a world record that I can find at all.
