Weird FF7 Skip

So Ultimoice somehow did a weird cutscene skip after hitting new game. He's unsure of how he did it but it skipped most of the intro cutscene and went straight into the game.

Seems weird but likely a scratch on his disc maybe?

Yea that is just a result of worn hardware nothing else. Either disc or the laser. It isnt too uncommon, we sometimes see parts of other fmvs disappear as well, the intro cut after like 50% for me before. Mostly fast disc loading is at fault for that. Fortunately at this particular game it doesnt produce anything worse than that.
