MOLTEN CORE
Mount Reward for completing Molten Core: Core Hound
Core Hound Chain is a reward for completing Boldly, You Sought the Power of Ragnaros.
Molten Core is a 40 player raid that requires players to be 100. It is available for the duration of WoW's 10th Anniversary. The ilvl requirement is 615--learn how to get your ilvl up with our heroic dungeon and Molten Core gearing guide.
All of the existing bosses will be present and their abilities will simply be scaled up. You can compare their 60 and 100 spell values by visiting a spell page and looking for the “Event” text in the Effects section under Spell Details.
Only a few things are nerfed: elemental resistances and Golemagg's aggro radius.
There is no loot associated with the level 100 version of Molten Core except for the ilvl 640 helms, mount, Hatespark the Tiny and Flames of Ragnaros.
You can run Molten Core once per week for loot, like other raids. You must kill the other 9 bosses to get to Ragnaros.
In the new version of Molten Core, you can look through Golemagg's window and actually see Ragnaros.
A journey into Molten Core with revo1utions (on twtich) who explains:

- This is purely a deathmatch battleground.
- Killing players makes you go up in rank and the ranks are taken from the original honor system.
- The nod to the original honor system is purely cosmetic and it will be just a buff in that instance of the battleground.
- Higher ranked players are worth more points when killed. This is a nostalgic nod to the old system. Example: a rank 1 player gives 1 point, a rank 14 player gives 14 points.
- There are no additional rewards from this battleground besides the titles.
