Well, despite me taking forever to watch it because of how salty the first season left me, I have to say this seasons did well in recovering the series. While the story line deviates heavily from the manga with Inaho actually surviving, I can't say that I'm altogether displeased with that, despite how much bullshit it is that he lived. The season itself mainly focuses on slaine and how he develops into a manipulative bastard that makes the statement "Fuck Slaine" become even more true. We don't really get much new character growth with the main heroes, but they ahd already been well established characters from season 1. The ending leaves a little bit to be desired with an open ended fight scene cutting off into

but I can forgive that. For the season itself I give about a 8.5/10 and for the series as a whole, I'd say a 9.5/10. You just gotta deal with that first season ending though.
