Day 2 begins with a fresh perspective for the teams who were able to survive their matches from Day 1 while other teams who have yet to play will begin their struggle to fight for the Aegis of Champions and the prize pool of $2.9 million USD.

In the last week the main event of the largest LAN event took place for Dota 2 known as the International 3. For some that may not know the International 3 is hosted by Valve and the top 13 teams from around the world and two qualifiers for the western and eastern scene of the game are played to see which teams are invited and what runner-ups are to play in the Wild Card match before the event. Each of these teams would be competing for the Aegis of Champions and for a prize pool of $2.9 million.
