With every seasonal update, Respawn adds another character to the ever-growing Apex Legends roster and Season 14 will certainly be no different.
Well, after months of speculation and waiting, we now know that Vantage will be the brand new character competing in the Apex Games on August 9.
A master of sniper rifles and scouting her prey, she’s going to be the perfect Legend for those who like to take down their opponents from a distance.

Who is Vantage in Apex Legends?
On July 25, Respawn released the ‘Survive’ Stories from the Outlands video that showcased Vantage’s upbringing on the remote icy planet of Pagos.
Taught to hunt and survive by her mother, Vantage was equipped with all the skills to fend for herself in the tough landscape.
Well, that was before her curiosity got the best of her and she stepped foot inside the ruins of a ship that had crashed nearby.
A near-death encounter inflicted her with wounds her mother could not tend to, so she was left with no choice but to call for help and hope the “authorities” could help her survive. We can presume Vantage has now recovered and is planning on competing in the Apex Games.
Vantage abilities in Apex Legends
On August 4, Respawn officially released all of Vantage’s powerful abilities, and it’s safe to say she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with in long-range gunfights.
Equipped with a custom sniper, a personal bullet drop indicator, and a squad-wide damage bonus, Vantage is going to be a useful member of any team in the Outlands.
Of course, seeing Vantage’s abilities in action is important, but it’s also key to familiarize yourself with all the details if you’re going to master the Sniper Savant:
---Passive: Spotter’s Lens ADS to scout with your eyepiece (Unarmed or with mid-to long-range scopes) and use a bullet drop indicator to see where your shots will land.
---Tactical: Echo Relocation Position your winged companion Echo and then launch towards him. You must have a line of sight to Echo to launch.
---Ultimate: Sniper’s Mark Use your custom sniper rifle to mark enemy targets and apply a damage bonus for you and your team.
