An outburst lately about Worlds/LCS etc being scripted by Joe Miller, an ESL League of Legends caster.
Source:
Let me clarify my comment to make it actually meaningful and (maybe) not seen as salty:
Monday: Script writing for days, meeting about that in the evening
Tuesday:Script writing for days
Wednesday: Script writing for days, meeting in the evening to read through said script.
Thursday: Script meeting to run through before show + live show + script meeting after
Friday: Script meeting to run through show + live show.
This happens every week for damn near a full year.
Theres a reason why Riots production is so nice and shiny. Its a LOT of work for everyone involved. Casters, producers, writers, everyone is involved there.
Im a big admirer of what Riot has managed to pull off production wise and my comment was not actually a "burn" on them but more on the process. I still feel burned out to this day in terms of what that process did to me.
I have nothing but massive respect to the guys that are able to do that year in, year out and still enjoy doing what theyre doing.
I just realised its not for me!
