Peanut butter connoisseur, scientific genius, tough fighter and all round good guy, Winston owes everything of who he is to Overwatch. Raised on the Horizon Lunar Colony as part of an experiment, like many of his future colleagues the young Winston was a prodigy. The therapy he underwent had a dramatic effect on him, dramatically increasing his intelligence and bringing him to the attention of Dr Harold Winston, who taught him science & about the good of humanity. Taking this as his philosophy throughout life, Winston would go on to become a core member of Overwatch and even after its fall is attempting to rebuild it into the beacon of hope it once was.
