Hello can you explain how a runner search and find a glitch/bug please

Ignoring those who find something in the coding and then exploit it (as that requires a certain skillset and tools) most glitches/bugs are found organically or by messing around. Take for example generic platformer A, we'll call it Honic the Sedgehog, you're going fast when suddenly you clip through the floor and are catapulted half way across the level, you go "hmmm wtf just happened" so you go back to that spot and keep trying to recreate it and you do this till it's consistent. Tada a new bug is found and you're the hero of the game till something quicker is found.

Generally TASing a game you can see the code and how the world is actually mapped out in a coding level which can help with some insight. Most finds are dumb luck and then looked into and exploited to its full potential.
