So I've recently started to speedrun an old classic "Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine" just for casual fun, and it really grows on you quickly (especially if you played it as a kid). There are several difficulty modes, easy, normal, hard, hardest and the few people who run the game run it on hardest. Up until today I've been running on normal but I decided to give hardest a shot today and got my first PB (http://www.twitch.tv/sirpenguinsc2/v/22588732).
For those of you who have no idea what this game (as I imagine most of you don't) is check out some gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nDbOUw-SKc
This game is really fun and available on steam through a SEGA Classics pack (along with Sonic 2 and 3 and some other greats).
The reason I'm posting this is not to brag (ok, a little) but more of that it would be fun if more people picked this up. There's nothing to remember or prepare before doing a run, it all comes down to practise and bean placement so anyone can pick this up. At the moment of writing this there are 2 people on the speedrun.com (http://www.speedrun.com/Dr._Robotnik...n_Bean_Machine) appart from me who runs it and It'd be fun if more people gave it a try.
This is just a thought from my side. But if you're not considering speedrunning this I'd recommend you trying it for casual, it's a good time waster
