I decided to make a few videos showcasing tricks to help save time during a Final Fantasy 9 Excalibur 2 run. In this video we see the Ice Cavern and Black Waltz #1. You should aim for as few battles as possible in here. And avoid the mist. When battling Sea Lion and Black Waltz, try to steal the Mythril Dagger.
