  • Warcraft Logs

So, there appears to be a site much like World of Logs but this one had a feature I was interested in. "Replay"

This actually takes a base map of the floor of the boss' area, shows blips for who's who, and "replays" the fight for you. Now, it doesn't show where fire spawns or moves or other things like pools on the ground or void zones, but it is an interesting tool to visually see the movement.

There is an example given from Wowhead that uses Method's Mythic Kargath kill, so I will post here so you know what I mean. What do you guys think about using this instead of world of logs? Good idea/bad idea?

Going to ask a simple question, why not both? I mean in all seriousness the extra data would be more than a little useful.

that's true. I decided I'm going to run this one to see what we can extrapolate from it. More data is better yes?

All I think about when I see this, is the Onyixa Wipe Video.

For a group that hasn't been raiding together for 10 years I'd say we're not that bad. We need more practice for sure. I think we could all benefit from these logs, but I fear that only a few of us will actually understand how to read them, much less care what they say. Any information we can gather is something that can be used to improve so thanks for this Misti

Unfortunately, it didn't save any data even though I thought I was running it... so I'm going to try again Tuesday (by doing an LFR to make sure I'm doing it right) and we'll get some of those replays going.
