I was streaming myself playing FFXIV a Realm Reborn for almost 37 minutes when all of a sudden my PC completely dies. No warning what so ever like the last thing you see on the stream link below is basically the final thing I saw.

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.

If you get at least the amount you put into it then go ahead. Otherwise I suggest you don't do it.

Honestly if you're under warranty I'd consider getting it looked at by the guys who put it together for you Nick, as honestly that could be pretty much anything causing it to cut out. That said,my money would on over heating, but that's pretty much a stab in the dark.

I can say the inside core temperture was under 40 degrees C for sure as I have a display in the front of the computer. I also felt it right after it happen and nothing felt hot.

I asked Tash to ask you some additional questions but if your warranty is good or they're not shadey. That's going to be your better option.

I don't know if this is related as it was plug into the same power strip and plug into the same dead PC, but my capture card died as well.

Sounds like a power surge or related to a faulty power strip then

LionOrphenoc Okay I did more testing with the capture card this morning and got it to power. Just it won't connect to my old PC. I know it worked on it before as it was what I used for over 2 years of streaming. I also know it is not the cable as it worked on my old Hauppauge HD PVR and uses the same exact software. So I got to agree with Epyon that it was the motherboard that failed.
