Favorite and Least Favorite games to watch being Speedran

Hello CarNage64!

My favorite speedrun I have to say it's FF7 no Slots run by CarNage64 and I Wanna Kill the Kamilia 2 by Denferok. The speedrunner it's important to me, because I can have fun with a game, but if I don't like the speedrunner... it's hard to watch.

The least... the FF7 yuffie warp, played at AGDQ 2015, I was really disappointed with that run.

I would have to say that:
Favourite speed run game would be FF7 due to the sheer nostalgia. As for my favourite speed run to watch would probably be runnerguy's blindfolded OOT run that he does every Wednesday. I have watched his stream pretty much every week since he started and it is a lot of fun. I try to tune in for the Thursday review stream too. I think the reason it's so much fun is that he gets sooo 'salty' about it then laughs so hard at it the next day. He's also a really decent guy who is doing it to so he can teach blind people to play the game, which I think is kinda cool.

My least favourite game (and I know I'm going to get hate for this) will probably be the Metroid games. I have never played the games and when I watch it I get really quite bored, so I tend not to anymore.
I wouldn't say that Metroid was exclusively my least enjoyable game to watch. I think that it's pretty much most games that I've not played and have little connection with and that there are no really cool tricks to draw me in. I could say the same thing for most of the Mario games (again - never really played) or other large, popular titles/ franchises.
And in the eternal words of Forrest Gump: "That's all I have to say about that."

Super Metroid is my favorite due to anyone can pick it up but there is a clear difference between top tier players and the average. It's amazing to watch and so many things that can debunk the run. My least favorite would have to be Kingdom Hearts... I don't really have an excuse besides its super boring to watch.

Mega Man X 1 is my favorite to watch because the movement is really hard and it is very impressive when done well. Also it was my favorite game as a child.

My least favorite game to watch speed run is basically anything I have never played before so I have no attachment or nostalgia with it. Super Metroid is an example, I have never played this game before.

My favorite game to watch is FF7. It's one of my favorite games in general and it's really fun to watch the speed run continue to change even after the game has been out for a ridiculous amount of time. I also enjoy the runners of FF7 more than pretty much any other game I've watched. MMX is a close second for me. My least favorite games are games that I don't even find fun to watch. I've come across games being speedran like Luigi's Mansion which I can't even force myself to play, let alone watch. I also dislike watching metroid. I don't know what it is but I just can't get into it.

Crusader of centy (or soleil, or ragnacenty) for genesis is a nice run. I watch it on evilduckk channel. He is a nice French guy
And a big up to the part antartica in 1001 spikes

The one i like the less is the recent donkey kong, that to much by level and we don't see any story.

There lot of games out there i like to watch but i never going to play, cause it's very not my type of game. I am a rpg player, so platformer game are less my kind, but like i say, i watch people, not game. Some time i even take nap while hearing someone.

well my to fav speedruns are half-life and ff7, half-life you need skills and need to be on top all time to get trouhg the game and ff7 for you need a good tacktis and memory to play it
my last fav speed run would be super mario 64 mostly becouse I run it my self and mario hate me :P but it's a cool game to run but I still hate it :P

I also love sonic but only glitch less

See the funny thing is my favourite and least favourite game to watch being speed run is the same game just different categories.

It's Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Glitchless I love watching however the glitched version barely resembles the game any more D:

My favorite Speedrun game is OoT because I'm running it and my least favorite are games with no real goal like MC IMO.

Favorite speed run game is Super Metroid, Zoast is a fucking beast and love that game. Least favorite would be OOT any% cause its just gimmicky nothing super special about it and way to fast of runs.

hmm Favorite would have to be Final Fantasy 6 to 8 and Resident evil 0 to 3. Least favorite would have to be ff12, love it but seems stale at times.

I'd say I love FF4 64 doors and No-64 Door Runs, and for my least favorite it would be Minecraft, sorry to anyone who runs it but the run just doesn't intrigue me :/.

worst speed games: smw 96exit, smrpg low%, anything newgame+

My favorites to watch are Paper Mario, Super Mario Sunshine, FF7. Mostly due to nostalgia, but also because of elements of skill and the streamers/runners that play them.

I've never been a fan of runs of Metal Gear Solid games or either Isaac game. The former is way too story-heavy, and Isaac, among other roguelikes, just seems not terribly run-friendly. Don't confuse that with races, Isaac races are neat.
