Cheap shipping from the US to EU?

Been looking into buying an NTSC PS2 online from like ebay or something. The thing is the console itself costs like $9 or $10 but the shipping is between $50-60. Anyone know a site somewhere that has a LOT cheaper shipping?

Not gonna get it much cheaper than that I'd imagine, nature of the beast especially with the power adapter being nearly as heavy as the console it's self (or at least my uk one is)

Power adapter I'm not worried about, can get them cheap at work with a 15% discount it's the damn $60 shipping i hate >_< for a $10-15 product

That's the nature of international shipping, it'd probably be cheaper to get it shipped to a friend in the us and get them to ship it on with the cheapest method possible, but that basically means slowest possible and no insurance on the package.

From USA to Canada, we'd pay that alone as well. 25-50$

Would it be cheaper then to have someone in the US buy it and ship it over or would that still be roughly the same cost?

can't get around shipping. its the killer when ordering from USA too. I bought some glasses last year there, about 120 dollars... I think I paid 50 on shipping/handling when they came to the door lol.
