  • Steam Controller In Action - Demonstration Video

    Steam has released a new video on how their Steam Box controller will work. The video showcases gameplay from Portal 2, Civilization V, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Papers Please.

    As far as the video shows, it seems that most games will feature control of the WASD/arrow keys mapped to the left trackpad and mouse control to the right trackpad. Disappointingly, the demonstration did not include how the controller's touch screen might work, as the current build of the controller is still 'in beta' and will not feature the touchpad (or wireless capability) until the final retail version is released.

    To me, this controller looks like it may have merit as a portable alternative for a keyboard and mouse, but doesn't seem comfortable or intuitive enough to replace them completely. Share your own thoughts in the comments below.

      I can't remember where i saw this but yeah this is pretty neat i think it will take a lot of getting use to though

    Guild Battle #17 has wrapped up in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, and we’re locking in a Rank 275 finish against one of the more punishing encounters we’ve seen recently.

    This round featured Gallonbaloir Rex, a boss that doesn’t give you much room to breathe. Between its heavy physical pressure, burst damage windows, and the need for clean execution, it was a fight that punished mistakes quickly.

  • Closing Out December 2025 with a CWL Win

    It was a tight division all week with several clans staying close in the standings. We stayed consistent across every war, kept attacks clean, and didn’t let things slip when it mattered. That steady approach is what pushed us over the top by the end.

    We ended the week with the most war stars and solid destruction throughout. No single war decided it. It was seven days of showing up, getting hits in, and backing each other up when plans changed or pressure kicked in....

    Soul Hunters finally ran out of souls to hunt because they dropped their own tonight. This fight is pure chaos from start to finish: triple-target plate-spinning, constant movement, overlapping mechanics that punish even the slightest misstep, and that final phase where the room turns into an OSHA violation waiting to happen.

    That puts us at 6/8 Mythic as we march toward clearing the tier. We’re keeping the momentum going and opening a couple ranged DPS spots...
