  • Determining what I can do to help reduce lag while I stream and play a online game!

Okay im going to try and explain this quick and simple, its impossible to do both at the same time and it extremely limits what I can stream compare to what I want to stream.

Here are the specs of my computer

Processor: AMD Phenom (tm) II X6 1065T Processor 2.90 GHz
    Installed Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB
    Operating System: Windows 7
System Type: 64 bit Operating System
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Monitors1: Samsung hook up with DVI with 60Hz
Monitor 2: Acer hook up with DVI with 60Hz
Hard drive 1: Local Disk (B 710 GB Free of 931 GB
Hard drive 2: WIN7 (C 292 GB free of 921 GB (Slave Drive)
Internet is ethernet wired directly from the Router to my computer

    4/12/15 Speedtests
This speedtest is while I am watching a stream and browsing the internet http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4285032962
(My mom on the other hand was browsing and watching a tv show or movie on Amazon Prime) - Speed test was done roughly around 10:30pm EST
I will do random speedtests throughout the week as well!

This speedtest was taken at 11:58pm http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4285165335. I had the same exact tabs open but 1 since I switch which stream I was watching!
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4285165335 . I also know my mom was using amazon prime as well

My internet provider provides us with a 15mb download and a 2mb upload under perfect conditions and is cable company that also provides Phone and Television
Reasons why we can't upgrade our internet is due to between my mom and I we go over the 250gb Bandwidth Limit easily (Game downloads aren't small anymore, and we both watch stream content all the time. Netflix, Amazon Prime, and me I'm always on Twitch)

My Obs settings are the following!

If you get at least the amount you put into it then go ahead. Otherwise I suggest you don't do it.

If you want we could go over some maintenance and go from there and work on some improvements. Do you have Skype? FB? Whatever you prefer.
