This week in CEVO 5:2 Lzuruha takes on Mini Monster on Cache. Lzuruha started on the Counter-Terrorist side and while they had a good start winning pistol and the rounds following. Things just fell apart towards the gun rounds to the point at the end of the first half Mini Monster took nine rounds in a row till the end of the half making it 5-10 for Lzuruha going into half 2. As the sides changed up and Lzuruha now on the Terrorist side; lost the pistol round but were able to eco back and have a better showing on the terrorist side but it was far too late after the first half to salvage with our boys falling this week 13-16 to Mini Monster.
EricN's thoughts on the match.
Overall, I felt like mini monster was good competition, but we should have definately beat them. We made a few mistakes, such as choosing to start CT in this new meta, as well as not working together on our CT side within site takes. Overall, we learned a couple things. One, I need to be more flexible with my CT calls when placing my AWPer at certain places, and second, we should definately shoot for the T side start ever since the new weapons update. Overall, this was almost expected, as we assumed that we would breeze through this map, and decided to practice overpass with what time we had. This seems to be the issue on almost all our losses in which we play incredibly against very skilled teams, while we don't do so against lower skilled teams. Overall, a learning experience. Expect big things on Overpass to catapult us into rank 20 or so out of the hundreds of teams competing!
