This week in CEVO 6:1 Lzuruha takes on Nothing Overly Gay on Overpass. Overpass is based on a canal overpass set in Berlin, Germany. The GSG-9 must protect a stalled military shipment on a canal overpass while the Phoenix Connexion can either attack the shipment head-on or attempt to destroy the overpass itself. Again I am sad to report that the game just didn't go Lzuruha's way and was a rough start from the beginning on both Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist side that our boys could never really recover with the end results being 10-16.

    EricN's thoughts on the match!

Finally a fantastic match! While we did lose, I feel like for this game, we lost well. I'm glad we were simply outplayed rather than losing for silly reasons. Overall, our T side didn't get off to the best start it could have due to the fact that we lost pistol after executing our pistol in scrims with a 100% win-rate before. Secondly, I think we held CT side quite well - but eventually they began to make very well executed plays on B site which overwhelmed us. I feel like this game was a 50/50, and the pistol round really cemented the loss for us. I'm quite happy with how our season is going so far though, and next season we will definately make sure to not lose the games we were predicted to win. GG's on to the next game against the division's favorite on dust2!

      by Ari

Lzuruha takes on InControl Gaming (8-4-0), Not to be confused with the StarCraft player! in ESEA Main this week (14/07/2016). InControl lived up to their name on the first half on mirage against our Terrorist side scoring 11 rounds against us making it 4-11 going into the second half. Now on the Counter-Terrorist side, the Lzuruha CSGO team knew they couldn't afford to make anymore mistakes or the match would easily slip out of their hands. They slowly began to claw their way back on the...

      by Ari

Lzuruha played ViLLAiNSgg (6-6-0) on de_mirage in ESEA Main (13/07/2016). Before the match began, it was a rocky start for ViLLAiNSgg as they needed to find one more to complete their roster. Once the game begun however they were able to make the first half on the Terrorist side for Lzuruha a close even half 8-7 in our favor. However once on the Counter-Terrorist side it showed that their team wouldn't be able to hold up against ours with their issues going on and Lzuruha closed it out 8-5...

    • ESEA Main: Rough Start, Rough Loss 9-16
      by Ari

Today Lzuruha take on Empyreal eSports (7-2-0) in ESEA Main. Empyreal took a pretty good pistol then the following gun rounds making it a quick 3-0 in their favor. As round 4 rolled around, Lzuruha was able to buy rifles and was able to get a bomb plant but not able to pick the round up. Empyreal has been successful at shutting our boys down with their duo AWP on the Terrorist side 0-6. Round 7 turned into an AWP war with which didn't go well for us but reD was able to 1v3 them and give the...

    • ESEA Main: Back in the Winning Column 16-8 over Kitfoxes
      by Ari

Today we face off against Kitfoxes (6-2-0) on the classic de_dust2 in ESEA Main. While our boys did take pistol round and the following rounds that normally come with that. Kitfoxes made it an extremely close start for Lzuruha's Terrorist half just ending on top with 8-7. However once our team got on the Counter-Terrorist side, there was little mercy shown with a 8-1 second half and ended the series 16-8 in Lzuruha's favor and back into the winning column. Next week we take on Empyreal e...

    • ESEA Main: Win Streak Ends Against Incognito
      by Ari

The four game win streak came to an end today as we suffered our second defeat at the hands of Incognito on de_overpass 13-16. Sadly our boys had a bad start on the Terrorist side and was able to start slowly salvaging it ending 6-9 before switching over to the Counter-Terrorist. However the damage has been done and couldn't get the rounds we needed and broke even on the second half 7-7 which ended the match in favor of Incognito.
