In a 4v4 match last night November 28th 2012, to maintain the #1 spot on the TWL 4v4 Ladder, Lzuruha.BF3 defended against long time rivals, ReQuiem. They did not only defend their title, they demanded it by sweeping their foes back to back winning both rounds 2-0 making the end result 4-0. 1st Map: Wake Island
ReQuiem started off the match with a strong 3-man push straight down the middle of the map, front line defenses by long time member ClixXz, founder Verdammte, and newest recruit Melgar quickly overwhelmed the attackers and wiped them off the bat. Future pushes by requiem, although valiant, proved to be futile as we wiped them time after time from the map, ending the round as fast as it began.
Lzuruha then began their attack, after a stagnant firefight between the two power teams, new recruit DaaaKu and gaming god ClixXz picked off 2 of ReQuiem's defenders and Lzuruha ran straight in, wiped RReq and took the MCOM for a 1-0 lead. The next push wiped Req in less than 2 minutes as Lzuruha.BF3 spawn locked Req and took the 2nd MCOM for a 2-0 lead.
2nd Map: Grand Bazaar
Confident in the new strategies created by Verdammte, ClixXz, and team friend, hiTha, Lzuruha took to the defense in positions not before used in competition. The strats held solid the entire round and proved far too strong for ReQuiem to handle and ended the round quite quickly.
Once again using new strats, Lzuruha.BF3 made an extremely fast and bold attack straight at the heart of the map, quickly overwhelming ReQuiem and taking the MCOM at an incredible speed for a 3-0 lead. Following the success of the first MCOM attack, Lzuruha.BF3 made bold a push to the 2nd MCOM, once again wiping team Requiem from the map and taking the final MCOM, for a 4-0 victory.
This has proven to be one of the most convincing victories Lzuruha.BF3 has had lately. Good games, to ReQuiem, we look forward to it next time.
