Titan Project Scraped and being Re-Done for 2016

Blizzard felt that Titan wasn't going in the right direction and decided to make significant technological and design changes to the game. Rumors are that with a lot of the new MMO's coming out these days with new engines and amazing graphics compared to World of WarCraft, they decided to do a complete overhaul on the game and not recycle a lot of what they have done with World of WarCraft. In a statement, Blizzard spokesman Shon Damron said,

We’ve always had a highly iterative development process, and the unannounced MMO is no exception. We’ve come to a point where we need to make some large design and technology changes to the game. We’re using this opportunity to shift some of our resources to assist with other projects while the core team adapts our technology and tools to accommodate these new changes. Note that we haven’t announced any dates for the MMO.

I think 2016 is a bit optimistic now, their original release date was near 2016 to start off with and we all know how Blizz likes to hold onto things.
