Week 7 of ESEA-Open brings us to cp_gullywash and an easy schedule against Making Bacon Pancakes and We Kings Now. Finally getting the recognition we deserve and getting a place in the TF.tv Power Rankings… at 10th… (http://teamfortress.tv/articles/view...ankings-week-7). Better than nothing – you might say. Not good enough, you do not stop a revolution at a meager wage increase, content with being acknowledged. Because more often than not, this is just a form of appeasement to satiate our rumblings; an illusion of victory – like a parent giving a whining child a $2 raise in his allowance. We will go all the way, like a class struggle pushing through history, until we topple the bourgeois upper class – or die trying. At the beginning of the week we faced a hard decision in our roster. After our Granary success, we really benefited off Gravegun’s pocket as he called more aggressively than Panda, which plays well to our style. We were also playing really well with DZK on scout and given our upcoming matches on koth_pro_viaduct_rc3, a map that is rewarding for offclass plays, his sniping prowess should be a huge advantage for us. So we decided to bench Panda for the rest of the season.
We had some troubles on our midfights and last pushes, but those are to be expected because gullywash is a shitty map that requires a lot of coordination – and random nonsensical dm – to initiate a successful push. Both matches were really easy. How we were ranked below We Kings Now is a fucking travesty and we will make those mother rankers pay for their capitalist crimes.

Securing both of these wins guarantees us a playoff spot and a chance at the $600 first place prize. Next week is Viaduct, our confidence and team chemistry is better than ever, but we will face our toughest challenges against the two highest ranked teams in the league, Dango Daikazoku and Undefeated at Rastlemania, but we are confident we have what it takes topple the standings.
