IncontroL gets the gold shoulder due to rumors some Blizzard employees don't like him which cannot be confirmed or denied. But Geoff did post some messages after the announcement of the casters on twitter which made people lift an eyebrow which you can view below. The community has been mixed on incontroL being left out where some feel his fanboyism over JaeDong is too much, he clowns too much and the fact he just isn't a WCS caster in the first place. Others Feel he brings life to the events he casts with his style which is pretty evident at the DreamHacks when he casts.
However the WCS Global Finals Hosts, Casters, Experts, and Observers are stacked with amazing people to still provide a great show and should not be overlooked!
WCS Global Finals – Round of 16 – 10:00 a.m. PDT, Nov 1
The Opening Weekend will have a more intimate, in-studio setting, with our initial wave of talent flying in. The crew includes:
Hosts: Paul “Redeye” Chaloner will return with a new partner in crime, Sue “Smix” Lee. They’ll keep the show flowing, ask players the tough questions, and keep the rest of our shoutcasting team in check.
Casters: the usual suspects will join us to shoutcast the Round of 16
Shaun “Apollo” Clark
Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski
Nick “Tasteless” Plott
Kevin “RotterdaM” van der Kooi
Nathan “Nathanias” Fabrikant
Observer: Florence “flo” Yao has been holding down the observer desk at WCS America for two seasons now. She’ll reprise that role in the ESL Burbank Studio one last time in 2014 for the Global Finals Round of 16 matches.
WCS Global Finals – BlizzCon – 12:00 p.m. PST, Nov 7-8
We’re pulling out all the stops and adding a bevy of additional talent once the quarterfinals get going at the BlizzCon Arena in Anaheim on Friday, November 7.
Nick “Tasteless” Plott will take over as the panel host for the expert desk.
Casters and Experts: these personalities will be added to the mix as well:
Sean “Day[9]” Plott
James “Kaelaris” Carrol
Yoan “ToD” Merlo
Andrew “mOOnGLaDe” Pender
Observers: the tag team of Phil “inFeZa” Bertino and Alexandre “FunKa” Verrier will be back again this year to capture every moment of micro and macro once we arrive at the BlizzCon Arena.
