Message from Mike Morhaime, 600 Fired

It will appear Blizzard is going through some changes as they looked at their company recently and felt they have overstaffed and will be scaling down some of their departments leaving roughly 600 or so people fired. Mike does go on to say this will not effect any development sections of Blizzard and they have some huge announcements on release dates coming in the next few weeks! Another Diablo 3 patch has been released (2/3/2012). While it has been mentioned over and over again but people were still unsure if it was true or if Blizzard was trolling. If you die in Hardcore it may not be the last time you get to play your character! of course thats if you died in the arena being added in for PvP in Diablo 3, Blizzard has said they currently have no plan to permanently kill the PCs in the arenas for teams, but only in PvE. Again as I say in all my other posts, this is beta still and nothing is official until out on retail! =)
